I planted about 60 corn seeds approx 6 weeks ago. Not one of them has sprouted. Not one.

I have ants in the garden...do you think they ate them?

My DH planted several rows, and I looked for it to be up in 10 days or so, none! I went to where he planted and all that was there was some pink corn scraps, very tiny! It was raccoons. They ate it all.

No racoons for me....I would have seen some signs. My corn disappeared like they were stolen by ghost.

When I grew corn last year about 5 kernels didn't sprout out of 64 in a 4 x 4 box. Had a critter cover on top and hardware cloth below.

I believe Boffer had a similar issue with corn with a weed block experiment that blocked seeing the mice eating his corn!

I can say it was so frustrating. I was really hoping for some corn. I bet it was ants.....there are a ton of them this year.
