Greetings from Southport NC
Hello SFG friends.
It has been a while since I posted.
I am trying my hand at gardening again but the traditional in ground method. I know it’s heresy but I will probably add some SFG beds too.
Besides this is still the best and friendliest gardening forum on the www.
Jim.

Re: Greetings from Southport NC
After my raised beds collapsed I got into remodeling the house. We got it just the way my DW wanted it and then sold it less than a year later. We moved to be closer to our new grandbabies. So needless to say, life has been busy.

Re: Greetings from Southport NC
Ralitaco! Hi there. Thank you for dropping in and providing an update. Your white table top beds were beautiful. I can understand wanting to be closer to the grandbabies.
I've thought that if I moved, I would still want to SFG because of the visual order that really helps me. I would have to still use table top beds or tall deep beds for older age accommodation. As my fancy TTs rotted through, I have replaced them with a simple design using concrete blocks as legs. Not as pretty but the legs will never rot. If you go with tall deep beds, just fill the lower part with inert topsoil or washed sand and top with MM.
Again, thank you for stopping by. Sanderson
