Mike!
You picked a great time to start because, we hope, the worst of the weather is behind us.
As always one of the first things we like to know is if you've read the book 'All New Square Foot Gardening' yet? The next thing we like to know is if you have any pictures of what you're doing? LOL then we like to know what you are planting? And you thought you were going to ask all the questions, right? Haha

Welcome, Mike! Glad you found us! What do you have planned for your maiden voyage? Any gardening experience? I second what CC said, and keep notes! You will want them next year!

Thanks for the welcome. Yes I have read the first book. I decided to go with 2 2by8 boxes because everything I want to start with will grow well on trellis. I am going to start with pole beans, squash ,cucumbers, and tomatoes. I'm getting ready to mix my soil this week hopefully last night should be the last frost. I have had a little experience in gardening but its been a while this just easy and fun.

Great! Sounds like a plan! The "All New" SFG book makes things quite a bit easier, in my opinion. Might want to get a copy before you get too far into the process.
