So Cal Compost
I finally made it out to the Chino dairy area and I scored!! I found free horse manure and free cow manure. The guys filled my three 5 gal buckets. He said I could stop by any time and help myself. I have to go back with more buckets to get cow poo too. If you drive around, you can score on all kinds of stuff. I also saw a sign for free mulch. I just have to find out what kind it is. There were lots of places composting and a bunch of farms and nurseries. There were drop off for greens. Sfg paradise!
Thanks for whoever suggested to get free icing buckets from the bakery. They are coming in handy!! I'm acquiring a nice collection.
I got some chicken poo, some horse poo, wiill get some cow poo. At some point I'll add fish fertilizer. Now gotta find some browns.
