Anyone in gardening in Tucson?
I'm a Tucson native who recently relocated to New Hampshire, but I may return someday and I want to keep the pulse on what's "growin' on" in my hometown.
Have to say, I miss the expansive growing season of the southwest -- it's June here, and we are just now able to safely plant in ground. I have wistful memories of overwintered tomatoes, still producing fruit in January and February!
So...
What are you growing, this year? Trying any new-to-you plants or methods? Got any pictures, ideas, or favorite resources you'd like to share?

Re: Anyone in gardening in Tucson?
Ginger, You can always read topics in the SW Desert Region and Northern CA and Southern CA. Audrey in "Northern California & Coastal Valleys - What are you doing this month?" over winters in a large green house. I overwinter peppers and tomatoes in a small green house or in their beds with Christmas lights. Winter is a wonderful time for fresh greens, kale, cabbage, broccoli, chard, etc.
