SoCal Freeze Warnings for High Desert Areas
Potential Freeze/frost warnings for this coming night in the high desert areas of SoCal. Cover your crops if you've got them.

Re: SoCal Freeze Warnings for High Desert Areas
It's going to be 80* here today and 70* tomorrow then Sat high is going to be 47* down to 28* Sat night. Can't complain though. It's been a beautiful fall and the cold weather is about a month late this year.No_Such_Reality wrote:Potential Freeze/frost warnings for this coming night in the high desert areas of SoCal. I have 5 hoop houses which I will cover late tomorrow afternoon while the temp is near 70* to warm the soil a bit before it gets so cold. It's my first winter with the hoop houses and I'm going to see how long I can keep my crops alive. I was blessed with a beautiful crop of carrots, parsnips, beets, turnips and cabbage.

Happy to hear you have a beautiful first-year crop, Mr. Booker. Get those hoop covers on ASAP in case the temperature to soon.
