Mid-Atl - Mar 2017 - I'm a seed-a-holic
My name is Kim and I'm a seed-a-holic!
I had NO business ordering seeds this winter . . . I have PLENTY . . . yet I did.
Not only did I order seeds, but I went to a seed swap and got even MORE seeds.
Then I ordered even MORE seeds after that . . . and I want MORE!
Who else is a seed-a-holic?

I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

That would be me. My name is TD and just this winter I became a seed-a-holic. I do not yet feel that I am ready for an intervention. But check with me later.sfg4uKim wrote:...

My name is Mellen and I'm a seed-a-holic. I don't WANT to be cured!
This photo is AFTER I planted all except my 2x3 "salad box".
Also...I need more seeds. There are some I still need (read that as "want"). That's the fault of everyone on this forum. They keep mentioning things I don't have, therefore I "need" them. Ground cherries or sorghum anyone?

Re: Mid-Atl - Mar 2017 - I'm a seed-a-holic
I might be a seedaholic in denial: I'm not willing to say it's a problem. I have a lot of seeds. I got even more. But they are organized, I know what I have, and I'm my plans have me sowing some seeds from most of my packets this year. And I'll be putting some of the ones I'm not using into a seed swap box in April. Yes, I do want more. Which reminds me that none of the places I ordered from had chickweed seeds *scribbles note on to-do list* Yes, I know it's a weed. I eat weeds. But for some reason all the local chickweed I've seen is the slightly furry kind.
(I don't have too many seeds! I have too few squares and not enough time!)

We aren't "seed-a-holics," we're just outnumbered by "seed-a-phobes."sanderson wrote:I am definitely a seed-a-holic.
