Re: Michael in WY
Michael, Ohio here! Glad you are here! Tell us your plans, what do you like to eat? Oh, and we love pictures! Around here this time of year, it isn’t particularly picturesque, though

Re: Michael in WY
My 'big' plan is to try to finish establishing a truck-farm operation, all of the beds of which will be SFG's, using a 32' x 100' production greenhouse, 4) 10' x 20' propogation greenhouses and numerous outdoor beds. Running into more obstacles and difficulties than I care to think about.sanderson wrote:Hi Michael, Welcome to the Forum from CA! Please tell us about your gardening hopes and dreams. Have you started SFG? Have you had a chance to read the book?
I've been SFG'ing since 1979-1980 time-frame. I've read essays that Mel wrote as he was beginning to assemble the first edition of the SFG book, both editions that have come out since, and almost all of his other books as well.

Dang! Michael, you have some great and lofty plans!!! But you have the experience to make things happen. Sounds really interesting. I will be watching for your updates, because you will encounter many things like we all do, but on a much larger scale.

Re: Michael in WY
Michael -- I hope you're keeping a journal and taking a million pics. You could end up writing your own book for others who want to do what you're doing -- or just want to follow along (like me).
