My new favorite veggie that thrives in Zone 10's summer heat!
These snake-like things are my new favorite veggie that THRIVES in Florida's summer heat! Also, in this episode (#6) I share a brief history of Victory Gardens, which really began during WWI.
In addition, I got very personal as I shared a "fun fact" about my birthplace. And story about the beginning of my fascination with gardening for me in Southern California.
We live in Oakland Park, (basically Fort Lauderdale), FL, and Dr. Mitch Rosenwald does a live show called Oakland Park Community Check-in, and he had me as a guest talking about Growing Food in Florida Summer Heat.
