California - Shortage of COMPOST

California - Shortage of COMPOST
CA is currently having a compost problem. Two good ones, Ecoscraps Compost and Nature's Care Really Good Compost are no longer available. I'm in Fresno / Central Valley. Besides Gardeners chicken or cow manure compost and Black Kow at Lowe's and Home Depot, the only local compost I could find is Gardener & Bloome Purely Compost at a local independent nursery. "Tomato Skins, almond shells, rice straw and hulls"
I have expanded the search from Southern Cal to just north of Sacramento, and Las Vegas for nurseries and hydroponic/pot stores. I did find one hydroponic store in Fresno that sells Malibu Compost "Bu's Blend Dynamic Compost."
Last summer I found some Ace Hardware compost 190 miles away in Roseville, CA (E of Sacramento) and they carried it again this summer. I had my son buy 3 x 1.5 cu ft for me. The photo is of my compost stash. The orange bags are the Ace Hardware Compost.
Besides mushroom compost from a mushroom grower in the San Diego area, I found mushroom compost 130 miles away in Morgan Hill, and will have to take a Saturday day trip to get it from that mushroom growing business.
I found Oregon Bull 225 miles away in the Auburn - Grass Valley area. Still researching this super aged cow manure.
Anyone find good compost in other areas of CA?

Re: California - Shortage of COMPOST
Wow - you find lots of good compost. Around here most of our bagged compost consists of "forest products" which means sticks, rocks and cigarette butts.
We do have mushroom compost, Black Kow and Black Hen readily available too.
