Chick N Poo Compost
Was at Menards today, and noticed a new product that I had not seen there before. A 25-pound bag of composted chicken manure, in pelletized form. It was a little more expensive than what I normally buy, at $9.99 per 25# bag. The Republic Mills Chicken Manure Compost I normally get is a 50# bag for $16.54 -- it is a little more economical, but when such products are not available the Chick N Poo would be a good alternative.

Yes, I would. The poultry compost I get from Republic Mills is just composted chicken manure, with no fillers, and is more of a fertilizer than it is a compost. Though, being composted chicken manure, it will not burn the plants. It will increase nitrogen, so I would use it in high quantities.

Well, yes I did. What I meant to say was "I would not use it in high quantities". A senior moment, you know.....

Re: Chick N Poo Compost
Best thing to do would be go to your local amish (if they are in the area) and see what kind of composted chicken filler they use.
