small batch of mels mix
Good morning. 7:06 am here in Chicagoland and will be in the 70's today Wo-hoo!!!
Thinking ahead, I have planted some seeds that have sprouted nicely.
Can I make just make a small batch of MM to use to transfer my seedlings into my cowpots in anticipation of planting into SFG? I would only have one compost available. It was such a production for me to get a mix of compost prior. I don't want to start that process again just for a small amount?
Thanks in advance

Re: small batch of mels mix
I don't bother making batches of MM for starting seedlings, I just start them in sifted compost. The seedlings do very well in the compost, and it enriches the soil when they are transplanted into the bed.
