South Plains Vermiculite Sources
I've been looking for a source for horticultural grade vermiculite in
the 4 cubic foot bags and have gotten a source! This is the only one
I've found in the southeast New Mexico/West Texas area so far that has
the big bags.
Here's the info:
Bunk's Feed Barn www.bunksfeedbarn.com
3128 South Eunice Hwy
Hobbs, NM 88240
Phone:
(575) 397-1228
Fax:
(575) 397-1250
email:
info@bunksfeedbarn.com
They can get the big 4 CuFt. bags for $25.99 each and place their orders on Monday and Friday. No minimum order required.
If anyone else finds a source anywhere in the south plains please list it here.

Re: South Plains Vermiculite Sources
Our nursery here in Plainview, TX has it. Robert's Tree House is the name of the place. 806-293-2613. They make their own potting soil and use the 4 cu ft bags of coarse vermiculite in it. $24.99 if I'm not mistaken.

Located not far from Market Hall, this shipping company sells 4 cu ft bags of coarse vermiculite for $20. The brand name on the bags is "Sun-Gro" and it is horticultural.

Vermiculite in Frisco & Plano
In Frisco, Texas:
Pardner's Garden & Feed Store
(972) 377-2165
Store Hours: M-F 8-6 & Saturday 8-Noon
4 cubic foot bags - nice people - this is where I bought mine (just 5 minutes from the house!)
I believe the bags were $25 each. Call to double check.
In Plano:
Well's Brothers Farm Store
I don't have a number. Saw this source from someone else in another topic. -- I don't recall the pricing but I want to say it was around $25 per 4 cubic foot bag.

I found it at the Keller Feed Store located at 600 North Main (Dention Hwy) in Keller, Texas. I was about $25 for a 4 cubic foot bag.
